After leaving school I attended college to study a Diploma in Office Studies.

I worked in the Civil Service since 1985 and left to have my son in 1998 (who happens to be one of the first children to attend Happy Days when it opened, formley known as Adam and Eves).  After a career break to have my Daughter I was offered a position to work 2 mornings a week, this has now increased to working 4 mornings and alternate Friday afternoons.  I currently hold a cache level 2 certificate in Children Care, Learning and Development, Fully paediatric Frist Aid Trained and Enhanced DBS.

I started my working career as a dental nurse but left to have my first daughter in 1996.  I have 3 children, one daughter at university and 2 boys at secondary school.  I started working with children 19 years ago when I opened a playgroup with my mum in Beckenham which ran for 15 years. In 2007 I registered to become a home based childminder which I still do, caring for children on a part-time basis.  In 2012 I studied for a level 3 Diploma in children and young peoples work force. I am fully paediatric first aid trained and hold an Enhanced DBS.
